Does my room have WIFI, Is it free?


All our rooms have been tested to provide a good WIFI signal. WIFI is free to all hotels guests.




How do I get my freebie rewards for booking direct?


Your freebie rewards are really easy to claim, All you have to do is spend over £50 per room on a booking and add the freebie rewards bundle to your basket. This is shown at several stages of your booking. If you have not booked direct online on this website then unfortunately you are not eligible for any of our freebie rewards.




What are the freebie rewards for booking direct on this website?


Freebie rewards is our free perks package for our customers who booked direct online. Our freebie rewards bundle provides the following: Free WIFI Free Priority check-in Free late-check out (1 extra hour in bed!) Free welcome drink for your group at our bar Please note freebie rewards are available only to direct bookings made on this website and are subject to a minimum booking cost of £50 per room.




I want to change my reservation/dates/cancel?


If you have booked using a online travel agent such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Travel Republic, Lastminute.com please contact your booking agent and they will assist you with your request. If you have booked directly with the hotel you can message or call us. Please note our team will be unable to assist any guests who have not booked directly with the hotel on this website or via telephone.




Do you provide discounts or large parties/groups?


If you are booking more than 4 rooms for at least 2 nights our team may be able to offer you a discount. This is subject to availabilty and the dates your are wishing to book, The best option is to contact the hotel and and team will try our best to assist. If you are booking less than 4 rooms we are unable to provide any discount as we are a budget hotel. If you are a business, government agency or corporate customer we offer a corporate discount scheme. Please message us for more information.




What is in my room?


All our rooms feature Iron/Ironing boards, Kettles, Tea and coffee facilities, towels, hairdryers, central heating radiators, ensuite with shower toilet and sink. In additional to this most rooms feature Smart TVs, Electronic blinds, Digital temperature controlled kettles, Designer toiletries, Demisting bathroom mirrors, Wireless charging points and USB sockets.




Can I book a seaview room?


Seaview rooms are provided on a first serve first come basis based on the person who requested and booked earliest receiving them first. They are subject to availability on the day of arrival. Please request this on the special request box while booking online. Please note our twin rooms are located low down in the building and do not have seaviews because of this. Our family room for 6 is the only room that we guarantee will be seaview.




Do you provide military discount?


Yes we provide a discount of 10% for any HOLDERS of the Offical Armed Forced Service discount card. The discount can only be used for the room of the card holder and must presented on arrival. You must book direct on this website to be eligible for military discount, Bookings via other channels/websites are not eligible for the discount. Discounts of 10% off bar prices apply to all customers with military ID regardless of where you booked.




Is breakfast included in the price?


As an essential hotel we provide all the modern facilites without the other baggage and as such we do not provide free breakfast. Breakfast is available nearby at Wetherspoons for less than £3.00.




What time is your bar open until, are childern allowed in?


Our seaview bar is normally open until at least 11pm everyday, Childern are allowed in the bar until closing time.




What is advanced saver hotel/bar credit?


Advanced hotel/bar credit is another customer reward for customers who booked direct. It allows you to advance pay for bar/hotel credit and turn every £20 you credit buy into £30 to spend at the hotel.




Can I pay cash?


Yes our hotel accepts cash, AMEX, Matercard or Visa.




Do I have to pay a deposit, Can I pay on arrival?


Please note we are unable to offer full payment on arrival, All rooms are secured on a minimum of the first nights stay amount as a deposit payment. Your remaining balance wil be due upon arrival, You can pay cash, Visa and Mastercard. We reserve the right to ask for ID on arrival to match the debit/credit card provided. If you have a booked via a booking agent such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Late rooms your advanced payment is likely to be much higher, Please contact the booking agent directly to check.




Does your hotel have car parking?


Yes, We have a car parking subject to availabilty. In normal circumstances we have enough spaces for all our guests on our main site, If this is full we have a nearby overflow car park. We operate a double parking system on our car park and you may be required to leave your keys for your car to be valet parked if required. We DO NOT GUARANTEE parking will be available on your arrival, In rare circumstances our car park may be full. In the event our car park is full a pay and display car park is located at the rear of the property. A charge of £6 per day, will apply to car parking. If your car does not fit in our standard spaces and takes up more than 1 space (some long vans, SUV, people carriers) you will be charged for the spaces it occupies. For example if you take up 2 spaces you will be charged £12 per day.




What time is check-in?


Check in time is 2pm onwards subject to availabilty of rooms, If you arrive earlier we can store your bags for a charge of £2.00 per bag. Priority for earlier check-in is provided for customers who have booked direct via our website.




What time is check-out?


Check-out is is 10am, We can store your bags for a charge of £2.00 per bag. Priority late check-out until 11am is provided for customers who have booked direct via our website free of charge. You can extend your check-out time until 12:30am for £2.50 per person (minimum £5) subject to availabilty.




Do you provide hair dryers?


Yes all rooms have hairdryers built in.




Do you provide irons?


Yes all rooms have irons and ironing boards.




Can our rooms be located close together?


When you book as a group of multiple rooms, We always try to allocate you rooms as close together as possible. Please note however sometimes this is not possible, Priority is always given to direct bookings via this website first.




How far ahead can I book?


Online you can normally book 12 months in advance, If you need to book more in advance please call the hotel directly.




If I cancel does a cancellation fee apply?


If you have booked with a booking agent such as booking.com, expedia.com, hotels.com, laterooms ect a cancellation fee will always be applicable. These are viewing on you confirmation from your booking agent. For more inforemation on the relavent fees please contact your booking agent directly. If you have booked directly a charge of the first nights stay will be charged unless it is with 28 days of your arrival at which point we reserve the right to charge the full balance of your stay. If you have booked direct we may be able to allow you to use your cancellation fee as credit for a future hotel stay. When booking with us via any method you are confirming that you have cancellation insurance to cover any charges, We are able to provide a invoice for your claim.




How do I know my booking is confirmed?


You will recieve a booking confirmation number and email from us confirming you stay, If you do not recieve this please check you first night stay amount has been taken from your bank account, If it has been taken your booking is confirmed. If you have booked on a booking agent such as booking.com, expedia.com, hotels.com or laterooms they will provide you with a booking reference number and confirmation email. If you do not recieve this please contact them directly to confirm your booking.




Are the rates shown on this site per person or room?


All rates show are per room, However we sometimes apply a discount on rooms if fewer people are in them.




Do I need to provide my card details to make a reservation?


Yes all reservation require an active debit/credit card to book, We reserve the right to cancel any reservation with invalid card details.




Do bedrooms have telephones?


No, our rooms do not have telephones within them. You will however be able to get a mobile phone signal.




What TV channels can I get?


All our TVs have freeview and most are LG Smart TVs so you can log into your Amazon Prime, Netflix or Now TVs accounts. Our TVs do not support connecting you own devices such as amazon fire sticks/Playstations ect to.




Do you have smoking rooms?


No, All our rooms are non-smoking. We do have 1 double room that has a terrace attached to it, If this of benefit please book the courtyard double room. Please note this room is subject to availablility and only available to direct bookers.




What do I do if I am unhappy during my stay?


Please let us know as soon as possible so we can reslove any issues you have, Your satisfaction is our priority. If you do not make us aware during you stay we are unlikely to be able to assist you after you have departed.




What facilities are provided for guests with disabilities?


Seafront419 is located in a victorian building built 144 years ago, As such we are limited with what services we can provide. We always recommend that you inform us of any disabilities in the special request box at time of booking. We will try our best to assist you with any needs you have, such as access to a fridge for medication and storage in the bar area for wheelchairs. Please note the building is accessed via our car park and we have 7 steps into the building, You must be able to walk through the tight access carpark and steps to access our building. The vast majority of our rooms involve at least 1 flight of stairs and unfortunately we do not have a lift. If you are unsure of anything we advise that you check before you book with our team by sending us a message.




Do rooms have fridges?


No, Our rooms do not have a fridge in them, However our staff are able to store medicine and limited other items in the hotels bar fridge if required.




Do you provide cots?


Our rooms are cosy compact spaces and as such most rooms will not fit a cot and we are unable to provide them. We have age restrictions and all guests must be atleast 4 years old to stay, You may be refused entry if any member of your party is 4 or younger.




Can I access the front door with my wheelchair?


Our building is 144 years old and is accessed via 7 steps and through our car park, as such you will normally have to fold up your pushchair/wheelchair to access the property. We do however allow you to store your wheelchair in our bar area.




I have a complaint, who do I contact?


If you are still at the hotel please speak to our reception team who will assist you, If you have left the hotel please email guest.relations@seafront419.com




Can I pre-book a car parking space?


Sorry we do not offer prebooked parking, It is subject to availabilty on arrival. Normally we have spaces on our main car park for, If this is full we have a overflow carpark nearby. Car parking is on a first come first served basis and we are unable to guarentee car parking.




I am travelling for business, Do you offer discounts?


We are able to provide discounts for business guests if you are booking multiple rooms. We also provide long stay discounts, Please call us directly to discuss your requirements. We have a corporate discount scheme for regular bookers, please message us for more information.




I've left something at the hotel can you help?


We store all lost/left property for 3 months at which point the item is donated to charity. If you have left it in the last 3 months we can release you property to the main booker by visiting the hotel or alternatively release the item to a courier for you that you have sent to the hotel. UPS, DHL and My Hermes are couriers who offer this service. We will need a written request sent to us via email before we can release you item.




Can I use the advanced saver hotel/bar credit for everything?


You can use your advanced credit for all bar purchases (Roll on the good times). You must use all your credit on your visit, Any remaining credit is voided on your departure. Customers are limited to a maximum of 1 advanced credit per visit per room.




What is VIP venue hire?


VIP Venue hire is where you are able to book rooms and the entire bar for your group event, With options of private bar, VIP bottle services and other exclusive options. Prices start at £195 for a 8 hour booking. To enquire please email us and an events manager will contact you.




Do you have any age restrictions?


You must be a minimum of 16 years old to stay/book a room on your own, anyone under this age must have a person over 16 years of age in the room with them. All guests must be at least 4 years of age to stay at seafront419, any bookings with guests under this age may be refused entry to the hotel.




Are childern able to stay at Seafront419?


Seafront419 is very popular with familes, we do however have a minimum age restriction and all childern must be atleast 4 years of age. Any bookings with guests under 4 years of age may be refused entry to the hotel. This policy is not flexible and is in place following feedback from guests.




Is electric car charging free?


Electric car charging is due to be installed shortly. Car charging will be free to all guests who have booked directly through this website. If you have booked through a third party website such as Hotels.com, Expedia or booking.com a daily charge of £6.00 (£5.00 plus V.A.T) will apply to cover electric and maintence costs. All cars electric or not will have to pay the standard car parking fee. For example if you book direct on this website the daily parking charge is £6.00 plus free charging. If you book on a booking website the total cost would be £12.00, which consists of £6.00 for parking plus £6.00 for electric charging. To use the electric car charging point you will have to collect the security key from reception, a refundable £20.00 key bond may be taken.
